ATLAS Bar, Singapore Launches New Dining Menu

ATLAS is hands down one of my top 5 favourite bars in Singapore. Besides its gorgeous and impressive interior decor as well as enormous collection of gin, I now have one more reason to head to this bar which, by the way, is number 8 on the World’s 50 Best Bars list.

Recently appointed Executive Chef Lachlan ‘Loki’ Lynch presents a new dining menu featuring a thoughtfully curated selection of modern, sophisticated European dishes made with high quality, fresh ingredients. Originally hailing from coastal Australia, Loki was most recently the Head Chef of The Coogee Pavilion, one of my favourite places in Sydney. After four years there, he made the move to Singapore earlier this year.

The new dining menu is divided into five sections and showcases Loki’s innovative use of beautiful and fresh ingredients from the European region. Perfect to have on your own or to share with family or friends, the dishes offer an elegant selection of exciting and modern flavours. The dishes might appear simple and modest, but offer a unique combination of flavours and ingredients which are eclectic and perfectly balanced.

My personal favourites are the Lamb Kofta with Beetroot Yoghurt and the Spaghetti with Clams. For vegetarians and vegans, the Pumpkin Salad is a great option that is hearty and tasty.

The Lamb Kofta meatballs with bread crumb salsa and sumac onions are served over a refreshing beetroot yoghurt giving it a beautiful fuscia colour before being finished with a lemon dressing.

The mini lobster rolls are perfect for sharing. Two small canapé-sized brioche rolls are buttered and lightly toasted before being stuffed with a fresh cold lobster salad. A small bottle of tabasco will be served on the side if you wish to add more heat to your roll. For those looking for an added indulgence, upgrade this dish with a paring of De Neuvic caviar!

The ATLAS dining menu is available during lunch hours, 12:00pm – 2:30pm, Monday to Friday, and for dinner, 6.00pm 10.00pm, Monday to Saturday.
