Blue Lotus Restaurant: Chinese Cuisine with a Modern Twist

The Blue Lotus Signature Chilli Pomelo Crab dishes, which were only available at the Sentosa Quay outlet previously, have been launched with a new menu at the Tanjong Pagar outlet. While this crowned dish is the main draw for this Chinese restaurant - and it really is the island’s best chilli pomelo crab - there are many more reasons to visit.

Culinary Director Ricky Ng has conceptualised one of the most innovative modern Chinese menus in Singapore. Who would have thought truffle belonged in a Chinese dish? But oh, it does! The Hot Stone Pork Lard Truffle Flavoured Fried Rice is delicious.

Fans of pork lard? Get crafty with the D.I.Y Crispy Pork Lard Popiah and make your very own! It’s fun and you get to proportion the ingredients to suit your taste buds.

Perfect for sharing with family and friends, take your pick from the sharing starters such as Signature Lemongrass Prawn Sticks and Chargrilled Chicken Satay. Both these dishes have been arttully plated with finesse and offer an entertaining element. Remember the game you played as kids called ‘pick up sticks’? Play the game with prawn or satay sticks and see who tumbles the ensemble. The Crispy Fried Salmon Skin with salted egg yolk and lime zest prove to be a great crunchy snack to munch on while waiting for the majestic Chilli Pomelo Crab.

Last but not least, the Hickory Smoked Honey-Glazed Korubuta Pork Ribs are a real delight. Melt-in-your-mouth and falling-off-the-bone enhanced with smokey flavours kind of absolute delight!
