Mount Faber Peak Offers Scenic Views and Family Fun Activities
As part of Singapore Cable Car's 45th Anniversary, One Faber Group introduces a number of fun activities and events for the whole family as well as great deals till April 2020.
The Singapore cable car is a great way to get from Harbourfront to Mount Faber and Sentosa Island. From Mount Faber, you can feast your eyes on the gorgeous view of Sentosa Island across as well as sunsets in the evening from Arbora or Dusk Restaurant & Bar.
For a limited time, you can head to Faber Peak station to view the vintage cable car cabins from the 1970s and how they've transformed throughout the years.
Arbora, a casual all-day garden dining venue sitting atop Faber Peak, offers western cuisine featuring a range of salads, entrees, botanical-inspired cocktails, craft beer and fresh green pressed juices.
There is also a 5-minute multimedia night show called "Miraculous" projected on the heart-shaped tree in the gardens of Arbora every night at 7.30pm, 8.30pm and 9pm. A pair of mighty squirrels, Mira and Mirak, live in this Angsana tree at Arbora and can only be seen through their luminous back strips and tails.
In conjunction with Miraculous, One Faber Group has launched a Mighty Rainbow Cake and two new craft beers - Session IPA and Summer Brew.
Savour an array of local Singaporean hawker favourites at Satay Night Live to be held on 8 June 2019 at Mount Faber Deck from 6pm to 10pm. Featuring several types of satay, lobster Hokkien mee and BBQ chicken wings, feast away and wash it all down with sugarcane juice or a Tiger Beer or Erdinger Tower.
Besides chicken, mutton and beef satay, there will be mushroom satay and grilled vegetable satay for vegetarians. Moreover, you can relish premium flavours such as chicken rendang, Sichuan-spiced mutton, and Arabian-spiced beef satay.
Seafood lovers can look forward to fresh quid, sambal stingray, seabass fillet with Asian spices, grilled prawns, and exotic Peruvian scallop with mentaiko as well as lobster cheese gratin.
There will also be entertainment from singers Jenny Vie and Jill-Marie Thomas, and games including a bouncy ball pool for kids.
Mao Shan Wang Durian Feast
It's durian season! Enjoy Grade A Mao Shan Wang durians at the Faber Deck on 10 Aug 2019 in an alfresco setting as durian stalls will be set up with tables and chairs.
