Exclusive Menu for Diwali 2020 at Tiffin Room, Raffles Hotel Singapore

Celebrating the rich heritage of North India, Tiffin Room has been a part of the iconic Raffles Hotel since 1892 and is one of the most well recognised Indian restaurants in Singapore.

This Diwali, the signature restaurant pays homage to its roots with an exclusive festive set menu experience that boasts a curated selection of new specialities presented in the iconic tiffin box.

Specially prepared by award-winning Chef Kuldeep Negi, the Diwali Experience menu showcases sumptuous Indian food that is set to amke your mouth water. Relish appetisers like Dahi Puri, an elevated street snack featuring tamarind and raisin chutney with yoghurt, and Achari Mahi Tikka, a delightful tandoori-grilled pomfret fillet with pickled spices. 

Savour main courses of Dill Palak Ka Gosht, a delectable boneless lamb shank simmered in a dill and spinach curry, and Murgh Khumani, tender chicken breast cooked in a flavoursome apricot and mixed nuts gravy. Freshly-made garlic naan, cheese and bell pepper kulcha as well as Indian basmati rice perfumed with saffron complement these savoury delights.

There is also the vegetarian menu, of course. For starters, enjoy the Subz Shikampuri Kebab made with asparagus, green peas, yellow lentils and avocado. Mains include Paneer Khumani with apricot, Kadhai Gucchi white button mushrooms with bell pepper curry, and Nawabi Hari Gobhi, a mix of broccoli and cauliflower with cream cheese.

Exclusive Indian desserts, which are a must-have for Diwali celebrations, take the form of Mango Ghevar, a traditional Rajasthani sweet cake with fresh mango and mango kulfi, and Mithai, an array of homemade Indian speciality sweets of cashew nut, date and fig.

The Diwali Experience menu will be available for lunch and dinner from 5 to 15 November 2020 at S$88++ per guest. An equally exquisite vegetarian option at S$68++ per guest will also be offered. 

During this period, a limited selection of the regular Tiffin Room à la carte menu will be made available too.
